NASHVILLE (BP) – The third episode of the Road to New Orleans features a challenging word on ways messengers can use their time at the SBC Annual Meeting for more than business as usual. The episode dropped on Tuesday (Feb. 14).
Jamie Dew, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary president, joined Jonathan Howe for the video.
Dew said Southern Baptists will have time to be tourists while they’re in the Big Easy, but he encouraged them to do more.
“Through our partnership with the NAMB (North American Mission Board) Center, we’re going to have a number of tours. This’ll be the opportunity for you to see not only the charms of the city but the challenges of the city,” he said.
